milwaukeepumuseumNow that summer has faded, my family and I will soon be looking for more activities we can do together inside.  We are once again training our eyes on the Humphrey IMAX Dome Theater at the Milwaukee Public Museum.  The entire museum will be leaving their summer hours behind, too, on October 1st, so be sure to check here on or after the first for their new winter hours.

Watching movies on their six-story-tall screen and listening to them on their wraparound digital surround sound is an experience you don’t want to miss.

On October 2nd, 2009 at least two new films will be playing.  One is called Wild Ocean, the other, Africa: The Serengeti.  So whether you want to dive into the deep or join a safari, there is something the entire family can enjoy.  There are general public, member, and movie stars club ticket prices available.

The museum itself is celebrating its 125th anniversary this year; check out all of its special events throughout 2009.
