sleddingWe certainly have enough snow to make sledding at Water Tower Hill fun for the whole family.  This will be our first time out this year.  Things were hectic over the holidays but now it’s time to kick back and enjoy some winter activities together.  Water Tower Hill, also called St. Mary’s Hill, has been a popular spot for years.

My kids are getting older now and the speed of this hill (say nothing about the distance down it) is just the kind of thrill they are looking for.  They will go up and down that hill, over and over, with just minimal warming breaks.  I, on the other hand, appreciate Alterra Coffee and its convenient location at the bottom of the hill.  The hill also overlooks Lake Michigan, another plus for the adults who just want to enjoy the view.

If this particular sledding location isn’t close enough to you then check for other locations around Milwaukee.

Make sure you have warm clothing for the entire family if you will be outdoors for any length of time.  There are many retail stores in the Milwaukee area that can help with your needs.
